Web savvy public transit users could be rewarded with a brand new iPad for their know how.
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission, the region’s lead transit planning and financing agency, is holding a contest where transit users are being asked to describe how they use Transit 511, the commission’s online travel-planning resource.
The contestants must send in a video entry where they explain — in a funny, creative, and meaningful manner — how Transit 511 has helped them move around the Bay Area using public transit. The entrant with the best spiel will be awarded a free iPad 2.
All submissions must be sent in by the end of May 30. To find out more about the contest, visit the MTC website.
