Commuters trying to get out of downtown by using Muni’s light-rail system experienced delays Wednesday evening after two trains malfunctioned before 6 p.m.
An L-Tarval lost propulsion abilities at Van Ness station and an M-Ocean View’s door malfunctioned at Civic Center statio, according to Paul Rose, spokesperson for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority.
The L train was cleared according to Rose at 5:41 p.m. and the M train was cleared just before 6 p.m. There were no injuries reported in either incident.
Trains heading west, though, experienced major delays.
