San Francisco City Supervisor Jane Kim is participating today in Walk to Work Day, a Walk San Francisco spokeswoman said.
Walk to Work Day is always the first Friday in April, spokeswoman Elizabeth Stampe said.
Kim and other walkers will meet at Civic Center Plaza at 9 a.m. in honor of the occasion, Stampe said.
Kim’s District 6 contains some of The City’s most dangerous areas for pedestrians, Stampe said. The supervisor is holding a pedestrian safety hearing on April 7.
