The Giants will receive their World Series rings prior to Saturday's game.

As if raising the championship banner wasn’t enough of a celebration, the Giants will receive their World Series rings before Saturday night’s game.

The weekend celebration of the Giants’ first title since beginning play in The City in 1958 following their move from New York started Friday with bearded closer Brian Wilson charging through the AT&T Park bleachers and raising the banner in area beyond the center-field wall.

Saturday’s ceremony will be all about the personal mementos members of the Giants will be able to have for the rest of their lives. The ring ceremony begins at 6:15 p.m., with first pitch against the St. Louis Cardinals scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Finally on Sunday, catcher Buster Posey will be honored with his National League Rookie of the Year award. The series finale against the Cardinals begins at 1:05 p.m.
