Even before Britney Spears concert tickets became available at 9 a.m. Thursday,  all seats were booked.

So it seemed.

Right at 9 a.m., The San Francisco Examiner attempted to snatch tickets for Sunday's highly anticipated concert at Bill Graham Auditorium. That effort proved fruitless. Ticketmaster told us tickets were not available.

Tickets were free. ABC said there would be a $3.50 service charge, but some ticketholders claimed they did not have to pay it.

The concert is set to start at noon, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m.

Fans on Twitter were disappointed that tickets were gone so quickly.

"So did anyone actually get tickets for Britney Spears's Good Morning America concert?" Tweeted Ally Williams.

According to ABC, the megapop star will perform several songs for “Good Morning America.” The concert will air on “GMA” Tuesday, the same day Spears’ latest album, “Femme Fatale,” drops.

The concert was originally set to take place in front of the Castro Threatre, but was moved indoors after ABC officials were concerned about rain injuring Spears. The pop icon will be wearing high heels, and several stilt-walkers will join her on stage.
