A security breach at Terminal 3 of the San Francisco International Airport resulted with one person in an unauthorized area, according to TSA spokeswoman.

Airport employees apparently noticed a “suspicious” person in an area of the terminal past security around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Carrie Harmon said.

It is unclear how this person was able to access the gate area, Harmon said. The terminal was not shut down during investigation.

No additional information was available.

TSA continues to investigate, Harmon said. It is unknown if the person was arrested.
