The planned closure of Great Highway along Ocean Beach has been postponed for a day, according to the San Francisco Department of Public Works.
The work between Lincoln Way and Sloat Boulevard was to shutter the busy thoroughfare between 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. each day of the week. The closure was for DPW to trim vegetation and relocate sand that has accumulated from Ocean Beach.
DPW announced Monday morning that the work on Great Highway is now scheduled to begin Tuesday.
