The first-ever Light in the Grove event, marking the 20th anniversary of the Ryan White CARE Act, will take place tonight in the National AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park on the eve of World AIDS Day. The 6 p.m. event will honor Pat Christen, the architect of the act, former executive director of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and current executive director of HopeLab.
