Landslide closes O’Shaughnessy Boulevard in Diamond Heights

A landslide has blocked part of O’Shaughnessy Boulevard in the Diamond Heights neighborhood, and SFFD is asking people to avoid the area while the scene is cleared.

The incident took place near on O’Shaughnessy Boulevard between Malta Drive and Del Vale Avenue. No property damage or injuries have been reported. SFPD and the Department of Public Works are working on the scene.

The landslide may have occurred after the past few days’ torrential rains, which have weakened soil and caused many trees to fall throughout The City.
