Knife-wielding thugs shed blood during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Rice and Mission streets
5:25 a.m., Monday
A 32-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed. The motive for their altercation was not immediately known. The suspect, a 34-year-old man, was arrested.
Turk and Jones streets
2:28 a.m., Friday
An argument between two men led to a stabbing. A 24-year-old victim was knifed three times. The injury was not life threatening.
Leavenworth and Ellis streets
2:30 a.m., Friday
Five thugs jumped a 19-year-old man walking down the street. During the fight he was stabbed in the abdomen. The victim hopped a cab to the hospital. His injury was not life threatening
Third and Evans streets
7:15 p.m., Wednesday
A 23-year-old woman was punched by thugs wearing ski masks on the Muni T-Third line. They held a knife to her ribs, scratching her, as they stole her cellphone, cash and medication. She was not seriously injured.
