A stinky situation turned sticky fast for this San Franciscan.

A man was attacked with a knife after asking the assailant — who the victim said was lying on the sidewalk near his residence at Brooklyn Place and Sacramento Street — to move on Aug. 30 around 2:30 p.m., police said.

The man claimed he had asked this particular person to move on many occasions due to the suspect’s unsightly habit of defecating in a nearby alley, police said.

But after being asked to shoo, the suspect pulled out a knife and charged the victim, who was able to make it into his apartment and shut the door before being harmed, police said.

Cops located the knife and suspect, who was identified by the victim, police said. The suspect, who had a previous warrant, was arrested, they said.
