OAKLAND — With 2017 champion Ian Clark back in the building, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr offered kind words for the Dub turned Pelican who’s set to receive his ring during a pregame ceremony on Saturday night.

“He was such a good player for us, good teammate, a wonderful part of the chemistry,” Kerr said of Clark. “He’s got a lot of fans in our locker room, so we’re excited to see him.”

Durant out, Casspi in

For the second time in as many games, Omri Casspi holds down a starting spot as Kevin Durant recovers from a sprained left ankle.

‘Maybe tone it down a little bit’

Kerr was hardly caught off guard by Jordan Bell’s postgame trolling on Friday night, but the coach wasn’t entirely on board.

“It didn’t surprise me,” Kerr said. “We saw what he did in Dallas with the dunk off the backboard. He’s brash. I think it’s good. There’s going to be times where last night was one of them — after the game I would have preferred maybe tone it down a little bit.”
