I found this a bit amusing:

Denver, CO—When Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Buck received an invitation to Andrew Romanoff’s birthday party, he was thrilled–

“As speaker, Andrew demonstrated that you can disagree without being disagreeable,” said Buck.  “That’s the type of attitude I will take to the U.S. Senate.”

…Romanoff offered the floor for Buck to give a few words, where Buck presented him with an official Buck for Colorado bumper sticker to laughter and applause from the crowd.

Romanoff had tweeted that for his 44th birthday, he wants help retiring about $350,000 in debt from his unsuccessful campaign against the Democratic nominee, Sen. Michael Bennet. Bennet’s wife was reportedly on hand for the event.
