Jay-Z dishes about marriage, family

Just in time to promote his new album “4:44,” Jay-Z is getting personal.

In an 11-minute video “Footnotes for 4:44” — which also includes appearances by Chris Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Paul, Anthony Anderson and Aziz Ansari — the hip hop star opens up about his marriage to Beyonce, which he admits “wasn’t totally built on the 100 percent truth.”

Um, so what’s new?

Just about the time Beyoncé released “Lemonade,” rumors about infidelities in the power couple’s marriage flew.

What’s more interesting is 50 Cent’s reaction to the recording: “Some of that s— was like golf course music.”

Also: Daughter Blue Ivy Carter, 5, raps on a bonus track.

Note: There’s still no word on the names of Blue Ivy’s twin siblings, who were born in June.

TRUMP DIDN’T FIRE

Event though Donald Trump said “You’re fired!” on “The Apprentice,” he didn’t determine who got axed from the reality show.

That’s according to singer Clay Aiken, who was a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2012.

“Trump didn’t decide who got fired on Apprentice; NBC made those decisions,” Aiken recently told Domecast, a podcast by North Carolina’s News & Observer.

A device on his desk that looked like a phone apparently was a teleprompter where producers were sending Trump notes.

“He didn’t know that people were getting in fights during the week while we were doing these tasks, the producers did,” said Aiken, an “American Idol” alum who unsuccessfully ran for a Democratic seat in Congress in 2014.

SETTING WORLD RECORDS

The Asian Art Museum is looking for 3,000 people to be part of Lotus Live, its effort to win a Guinness World Record for largest human flower. The event — “part human be-in, part artwork, part celebration of the museum’s ‘Flower Power’ exhibition” and San Francisco’ Summer of Love festivities — is at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15 in Civic Center Plaza. (The record to top, 2,297 people at the Rochester Lilac Festival, was set in 2014.) Registered participants get free admission to the museum and a commemorative poster.

However, at the same time, Team Handstand is hosting an attempt to break the world record — apparently held by a “totally beatable total of 399 people” in Belgium — for most people doing a handstand at the same time. The free event, which includes handstand lessons, begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15 in Dolores Park.
