All lanes of the Golden Gate Bridge were open for traffic this afternoon after a multi-car collisionblocked the span earlier today, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic on the world-famous bridge came to a halt around 2:40 p.m. when a northbound station wagon veered into the southbound lanes and caused a series of crashes involving about 10 cars, the CHP said.
