‘Frisco Five’ supporters clash with sherriff’s deputies at City Hall

Protests at City Hall on Friday evening turned into a violent clash as the night wore on and police issued several orders to disperse. Five hunger strikers dubbed the ‘Frisco Five’ were taken to the hospital earlier that day after sixteen days without food. The protesters are calling for San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr to be fired or resign following recent police violence and racism within the department.
