A fire on San Francisco’s Fell Street damaged three buildings early Friday and displaced 13 people. The blaze caused around $800,000 in structural damage and more than $125,000 in personal property damage, according to fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge.
Reported at 3:16 a.m., the fire reached three alarms before it was brought under control at 5:33 a.m., a dispatcher said. It broke out in a Victorian home at 1100 Fell St., near Scott St., and burned adjacent buildings at 1108 Fell St. and 505 Scott St., the San Francisco Fire department reported.
The Red Cross provided assistance to some residents who were displaced.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries as a result of the blaze, Talmadge said. One firefighter sustained a hand injury and another endured an eye wound, according to Talmadge.
Officials are still trying to determine what caused the blaze.
