Things are getting ugly between Paul McCartney and soon-to-be ex-wife Heather Mills.
Well,now phone taps are involved.
Apparently, Mills approached McCartney about a taped phone conversation between McCartney and his daughter, fashion designer Stella, that was given to her by a third party.
In the conversation, Stella bashes Mills, calling her a liar and saying she believes the rumors that Mills was a high-class call girl back in the day. Mills denies those allegations and has threatened to sue the tabloids that made those claims.
"Heather was stunned when this fell into her hands. Paul’s face went white as a sheet and he looked utterly stunned," a source told The Daily Mirror. "And he was shocked and staggered to discover that his private home phone had been secretly bugged."
Now, Mills is considering a restraining order to keep Stella away from their daughter, Beatrice, and McCartney is pondering calling the police about his phone being bugged.
"Any chance of keeping the divorce amicable appears to be disappearing fast," the source said. "It’s getting personal and they could have a war on their hands."
Josh gets jealous
There might be trouble in paradise for Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson.
Hartnett lost his cool when Johansson started hanging out with actor-turned-professional-party-boy Wilmer Valderama, who’s racking up a list of Hollywood hotties, including Mandy Moore, Ashlee Simpson and, of course, Lindsay Lohan.
"Wilmer was out in the Hamptons for a party and arranged for a helicopter for Scarlett to come out, too. It was just to hang out, but Josh was not psyched about it," an insider told The New York Daily News. "Finally Scarlett just handed her phone to Wilmer and said, ‘Talk to Josh. Tell him we’re friends.’"
Girl goes wild on Joe’s face
Sometimes, there is a little justice in the world.
"Girls Gone Wild" creatorJoe Francis got clocked in the face by a woman on Friday night at a private party.
Of course, the fabulous TMZ.com has footage of the aftermath, including Francis talking to the cops with an ice pack on his face.
We’re not one to laugh at people’s pain, but … Ha ha.
Boys and their toys
Johnny Depp likes to play with dolls.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star says he enjoys playing Barbies with his 7-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose.
"It’s kind of a great thing to do with your kids, it’s one-on-one time where you’re both inventing characters," Depp told The London Independent. "But the funniest thing for me was that I was actually using that time to explore different characters with the Barbies and she didn’t like it. At a certain point she said: ‘Dad, please just stop, don’t do that, just do your regular voice.’ That put me in my place."
No ‘Superman’ for you, James
James Marsden just can’t catch a break.
First of all, the hunky actor continually plays men who lose their women to other men ("X-Men," "The Notebook" and "Superman Returns"). And now he can’t even get a ticket to a movie he stars in.
Marsden tried to get in to see himself in "Superman Returns," in which he plays Lois Lane’s fiancé, in an IMAX theater in New York, but was told it was sold out.
"But I’m in the movie!" Marsden yelled, according to PageSix.com.
Luckily, a manager recognized Marsden and was kind enough to allow him to stand in the back of the theater to watch the flick.
Hey, James, try Fandango next time, m’kay?
