A 19-year-old woman who worked for Christie Brinkley’s husband, Peter Cook, is fessin’ up to an affair. This titillating piece of info comes a week after Brinkley and Cook announced they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage.
But wait, it gets juicier.
According to the New York Post, the woman, Diana Bianchi, claims Cook approached her about working at his architectural firm when she was a 17-year-old toy store clerk. A year later, Cook, 47, made his move by typing on a computer screen as she stood by his desk, "How would you feel if I told you I was attracted to you?"
"He didn’t say he was going to leave her. He just basically left it at he wished things were different," Bianchi told WNYW in New York, according to TMZ.com. "He wished that he was younger or he had met me at a different time. I never asked him to leave her for me."
Bianchi says Cook, who refused to comment in the New York Post story, showered her with money and gifts and tried repeatedly to win her back when she dumped the cheatin’ chump.
Eventually, Bianchi quit her job because she felt uncomfortable, paving the way for a spiffy sexual harassment lawsuit if she chooses to pursue it, which Bianchi’s lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, is more than hinting at in interviews.
This goes to show that if your man is a cheater, he’s going to cheat no matter what, even if you are as hot as Christie Brinkley.
We don’t want to go to your stupid award show anyway!
The "Desperate Housewives" stars are really desperate for award recognition.
Gossip hounds are barking that Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Nicolette Sheridan and Marcia Cross are boycotting this year’s Emmy Awards because they were completely shut out of the awards.
"None of them are going," an insider told the Los Angeles Times. "If you’re not nominated, you really don’t have a reason to go. It’s a lot of prep work to get in shape, all made-up, pickgowns and dressed up to these things. It’s exhausting. And if you’re not up for an award and it’s just going to be embarrassing, why go?"
Of the ABC drama’s castmembers, only Alfre Woodard scored a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Last year’s Best Actress winner (and recent Oscar nominee) Felicity Huffman will attend, as it’s customary for the previous year’s winner to present. Oh, and Huffman isn’t a sore loser.
Ozzy & Sharon, see a counselor right now
Yet another match in MTV reality show heaven has ended.
After chronicling their relationship in "Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave," Jane’s Addiction guitarist-turned-"Rock Star" host Dave Narravo and "actress" Carmen Electra have separated after two and half years of marriage.
This news should surprise no one, because back in April the couple was insisting that everything was hunky-dory.
"We’re fine! I’m not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we’re the perfect couple, but we’re pretty damn good," Electra had told People magazine.
Electra went on to say that if there were troubles in the marriage, "I wouldn’t have my ring on. I would not walk around and pretend."
Paris fans the flames of the Lohan rivalry
Paris Hilton, who is making all the publicity rounds as she desperately tries to convince people that she’s a singer now, is denying that archrival Lindsay Lohan ever hooked up with Hilton’s second Greek shipping heir former fiancé, Stavros Niachos.
"That was crap," the alleged singer-actress told Style magazine. "She’s never even hung out with Stavros. He thinks she’s pathetic."
Speaking of pathetic, Hilton claims she’s so focused on her "career" right now that she’s forgoing dating.
"It’s really exhausting being a girlfriend," Hilton said. "I’m always putting all myenergy into some guy and I’m bored with it."
