Janice Dickinson allegedly left the runway after Reality of FASHION the Reality of AIDS fashion show with $20,000 worth of jewels on her.

Self-proclaimed “world’s first supermodel” Janice Dickinson (emphasis on the “self-proclaimed”) made quite a spectacle of herself at New York’s Fashion Week last weekend.

The New York Post reports that the diva was accused of “walking off the catwalk with $20,000 in jewelry,” though her rep claims it was an accident.  The show was dubbed “The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS” (fabulous!) and starred other noted fashionistas such as “Jersey Shore” meatball Deena Cortese, “Mob Wives” moll Drita D’Avanzo and a gaggle of “Real Housewives.” Klassy with a K!

She returned the baubles eventually and is offended at suggestions of impropriety.

“If you’re insinuating anything funny going on,” she told the Post, “you’re barking up the wrong tree.”

A subsquent email to the Examiner from the fashion show's producer stated that “I am 100 percent positive that she did not intend to leave with her pieces as her team was on the phone with ours immediately. ... She was one of the jewels in the crown of our show and we greatly appreciate her participation.”
