First Elmo and now this: The son of the woman who created that purple blight known as Barney has been arrested for allegedly murdering someone in Malibu.

According to The Acorn website, Patrick Leach, 27, son of Sheryl Leach, is accused of shooting a 49-year-old man. So far there’s no motive, but all you need to do is hum “I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family …” and you might find the smoking gun.
