Sofia Vergara plays a fiery Latina on “Modern Family,” but she did some method acting on New Year’s Eve.

According to the New York Post, she and her fiance, Nick Loeb, got into an altercation with other clubgoers at Miami hot spot Story.

Loeb reportedly “got into a dispute” with people at a nearby table that quickly degenerated into a “scuffle.” Both he and Vergara were ejected “out the back door,” and her dress was supposedly ripped in the altercation.

The weird part is that they were allegedly there at the behest of her ex-boyfriend, nightlife honcho and convicted murderer Chris Paciello, which begs the question, why were they kicked out instead of the other people?
