Michael Jackson’s bungling (ah heck, let’s just call him “murderous”) physician,

Dr. Conrad Murray, is still trying to let it sink in that he is in prison and might never get out.

He’s up for his constitutional right to an appeal, but in the meantime he would really like to get out of that place and maybe grab a burger at the Hamburger Hamlet in Sherman Oaks.

TMZ reported that prosecutors have aired their own objection to the idea, filing a doc that goes something like, “Oh helllll no.” The doctor insists he’s not a flight risk, so, like, what’s the big dealio?

Conrad, how about taking this time to learn a new trade, such as making baked beans for 500 or carving sailing ships out of soap?
