They seemed like such an adorable, picture-perfect couple with their romantic vacation in Paris. But now it turns out Ryan Gosling is having second thoughts about his relationship with fellow uber-hottie Eva Mendes, according to the U.K.’s Mail.

“Ryan and Eva are having trouble seeing eye to eye,” a source revealed.

Six months into dating the actress, the “Drive” star is said to have hightailed it to South Africa after informing pals he needed time “to think.”

Presumably helping him concentrate was the beauty he allegedly dined with.

 The source claims to have seen him “having dinner with a blond model who said she was from Berlin. He tried to disguise himself with a woolly hat and scarf and seemed eager not to be noticed as they sat at a beach table, but he was clearly entranced by her.”

Katy Perry’s devout Christian dad is OK with Russell Brand — despite the fact that the British bad boy filed for divorce from his daughter.

“There are no hard feelings towards Russell — I just received a text from him the other day, in fact. He is a wonderful and smart guy,” minister Keith Hudson positively gushed to Us magazine.

The pop star and the comedian were wed for 14 months before deciding to part ways; barring the extremely unlikely event of a sudden change of heart, their divorce will be final in June.

“Her career got really busy and she did not get to see that much of Russell — it was just one of those things,” Keith explained.

“Katy is doing well just now,” her father avowed … although he shrugged off rumors that she recently dove into a whirlwind Paris Fashion Week romance with highly paid catwalk hunk Baptiste Giabiconi.

“I don’t know anything about this male model guy. She is healthy and happy now!”

Well, we should think so — nothing makes a woman feel healthy and happy like a hot hookup with a model in Paris!

Stupid Is As ...

After Jon Hamm cited her and Paris Hilton as examples of how “stupidity” is “rewarded significantly” in society, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to refute his claims. (What, you were expecting an editorial in The New York Times?)

Responding to the “Mad Men” star’s recent comments in Elle U.K., the socialite fumed, “We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”

As of press time, Paris Hilton had no qualms with Jon’s characterization of her stupidity. So presumably either she agrees with him, or she simply cannot read.
