Just as we suspected! As Scoop! said Thursday, Lindsay Lohan’s car made contact with a club manager early Wednesday as she was trying to pull out of a paparazzi-packed parking lot.
TMZ reported that police closed The Case of LiLo Being a Train Wreck, Part 700, because it appeared the man was unharmed — but could reopen it if the victim claimed an injury.
Sure enough, early Thursday, the victim reportedly went to an emergency room and announced plans to press charges. The actress allegedly could face hit-and-run charges. (Which would mark her first hit since “Mean Girls” … zing!)
Lindsay fumed on Twitter, “This is all a complete lie….These false accusations are absurd.”
Her rep chimed in, “We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the next few days.”
Well, they sure better hope so. Remember that whole business about Lindsay getting off probation if she stays out of trouble?
Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli seemed like one of Hollywood’s strongest couples. Married in 2001, they just announced their split — and naturally, a storm of cheating rumors ensued.
But the “90210” star and the “Twilight” actor want the world — and, presumably, their three daughters — to know it ain’t so.
“There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family,” they informed People magazine in a statement. We just want to make it very clear — there are no third parties involved.”
We’ll all sleep better tonight.
OK ... whaaat? Bobbi Kristina Brown is engaged to marry a young man whom her late mother, Whitney Houston, took in, Star magazine reports. Even more disturbing, the 19-year-old said-to-be bride-to-be, who is known as Krissy, allegedly calls Nick Gordon “brother” and he calls her “sister.”
“Nick proposed to Krissy on March 10, and she said yes,” a family friend reportedly dished to the tabloid. “Krissy said Nick is the only person she trusts in the world. They have a very deep connection.”
Apparently, Whitney, who died last month, unofficially adopted Nick, 22, after his father was imprisoned and his mother couldn’t care for him. He and Krissy reportedly reside together in Whitney’s Atlanta townhouse.
As if this story couldn’t get creepier, the insider suspects an ulterior motive in Nick proposing so soon after Whitney’s sudden passing.
“Everyone is worried that Nick is looking to take advantage of Krissy,” says the source. “She’s taking prescription pills and saying things that make her family feel she’s suicidal. Nick is getting her at her most vulnerable. If he really loved her, he’d back off the engagement and just be her friend.”
Umm … if he really loved her (and they call each other brother and sister!!!) there wouldn’t be a romance at all!
