Is another royal wedding in the works? After years of dating on and off, Prince Harry is planning to tie the knot with Chelsy Davy — at least if you believe Life&Style magazine.
“Harry told Chelsy he’s ready to settle down for good with her and make things official,” an insider reportedly said.
The pair were first linked in 2004, but split in September. Their relationship is evidently solid enough that the “spare heir” took the blond beauty as his date to Prince William’s royal wedding.
“Harry has been accused of cheating on her in the past [which he’s denied], and her friends at the time told her to ditch him because he was bad news. But now it’s the opposite,” a friend said. “Harry wants to take things up a notch with her, and he’s even asked her close friends to convince Chelsy that it’s worth taking a chance, that things could work out for them long term.”
Chelsy’s pals are said to be behind the idea, having perceived how much the party-boy prince, 26, has matured lately.
We’re a bit skeptical of this story, since just a couple weeks ago the tabloids were speculating that Harry would hook up with Pippa Middleton, sister of Kate — excuse us, Princess Catherine. Most likely, Life&Style magazine is just trying to milk the last gasps of royal-wedding fever.
Bristol Palin admits her radically revamped face is the result of surgery, but she insists it wasn’t just cosmetic.
The former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant, who recently debuted a much less round chin, told Us magazine she had “corrective jaw surgery” in December.
“It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons so my jaw and teeth could properly realign,” the 20-year-old mom of Tripp, 2, said.
However, “I am absolutely thrilled with the results,” Bristol said. “I look older, more mature, and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face!”
Right. Just like when Jennifer Aniston corrected her deviated septum and it somehow made her nose look smaller.
Though they were coy about their brief romance, Chelsea Handler has finally admitted that she dated rapper 50 Cent “very casually” last year.
“I was newly single and I wanted to date a bunch of different people and I did,” the caustic comedian told Piers Morgan. “And I’m satiated.”
“He’s a great guy,” she said. “He’s the complete antithesis of what you’d imagine.”
The “Chelsea Lately” host had been on the rebound from her previous beau — and current boss — honcho Ted Harbert, the CEO of the company that controls the E! network. She’s now dating another power player — hotelier Andre Balazs, a former Uma Thurman squeeze — for whom Chelsea said she has “strong feelings.”
And what of the rumor that a lovesick Fiddy sent gifts to woo her back, only to have them returned?
“Well, I don’t really like gifts from rappers in general, since I’m not a hooker,” Chelsea said. “I’ve returned gifts, but I’ve returned gifts to plenty of people. I don’t like when men buy me ridiculous gifts, especially when I don’t know them well. I can buy my own gifts. And I prefer to keep it that way.”
No doubt that’s part of why superwealthy men are attracted to her.
