“Oh my God, I’m so proud of him!” the “Cougar Town” star said of her husband’s successful stint in rehab, adding that post-recovery he’s the “best he’s ever looked! He’s so cute that I’m like, dude, I don’t understand. Really?! Why are you that cute right now?”

Courteney also suggested that their separation might have strengthened them in the long run.

“Our communication and the way we are, just learning about each other in a different way, it’s smart,” she said.

The actress evidently wants to sever her familial association with father Michael Lohan, who was recently arrested on suspicion of assaulting ex-girlfriend Kate Major.

“Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay,” mom Dina told Popeater. “Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan.”

Michael told the New York Daily News he thinks his ex-wife is just scheming “to put a wedge between Lindsay and me.”
