The up-and-coming San Francisco indie band Geographer is slated to headline Zazzle Footstock on May 15.
This year, the festival, which follows Zazzle Bay to Breakers, has a new location – Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park.
Karel, blogger and talk radio personality on KGO will be master of ceremonies, while the DJ in attendance is local scenemaker Sarah Delush.
Rounding out the entertainment roster are performances by: CheerSF, a queer cheer squad mixing extreme stunts and dance; the San Francisco Rock Project, a nonprofit music education group; Teatro ZinZanni, the circus-comedy troupe with excerpts from its current show “Too Caliente to Handle”; Loquat, a band playing dreampop; and Boca do Rio, playing Latin and dance music.
The popular annual costume contest will return; finalists and winners will be announced from the stage.
