S.F. Ballet Gala Benefactor Party: The San Francisco Ballet’s 2009 season kicks off Wednesday with an opening-night gala, and on Jan. 13, the gala’s benefactors and grand benefactors were honored with a cocktail reception at the home of Pamela Joyner. Benefit for allergic, homeless

On Friday, Damion Matthews and Mireille Schwartz hosted a party by the Bay Area Allergy Advisory Boards at Nob Hill’s Le Club. The event, named after "Epi Pens," injections for severely allergic individuals, also benefited San Francisco’s Homeless Prenatal Program, with each guest asked to donate one new boxed pair of children’s shoes.
