The SHN Series — formerly known as Best of Broadway — is bringing seven shows to the Orpheum, Curran and Golden Gate theaters for its 2011-12 season.

Running Oct. 25 to Nov. 20 at the Golden Gate will be “Hair,” the 2009 Tony Award winner for best musical revival.

A new musical comedy, “Bring it On: The Musical,” about the world of competitive cheerleading runs Dec. 15 to Jan. 5 at the Orpheum.

Two-time Tony winner Jonathan Pryce will appear in Harold Pinter’s classic “The Caretaker” from March 28 to April 22 at the Curran.

Coming back to the Bay Area after its premiere at Berkeley Repertory Theatre is “Green Day’s American Idiot,” running June 12 to July 8, 2012, at the Orpheum.

A reimagined 25th anniversary production of “Les Miserables” will be at the Orpheum from July 10 to Aug. 5, 2012.

The National Theatre of Great Britain’s “War Horse,” the World War II-era story of young Albert’s beloved horse, Joey, runs Aug. 1 to 26, 2012, at the Curran.

A seventh show will be announced at a later date.

Subscriptions, which begin at $213, for season-ticket holders and new patrons are available now.
