Elderly SF man dies from possible stabbing in care facility

A 78-year-old man died from possible stab wounds Sunday morning in care facility near City College, according to police.

A call came in to police Sunday morning at around 9 a.m. reporting a possible stabbing on the 100 block of Aptos street in the Balboa Terrace area just off Ocean Ave.

Details of the incident are sketchy, but the medical examiner is calling the death of the elderly white man suspicious, so it is being investigated by homicides inspectors.

No arrests have been made in the case and the victim’s name has not yet been released.
