Silver companies shares mixed at the close of trading

NEW YORK — Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Hecla Mining rose $.03 or .6 percent, to $4.88.
Pan American Silver fell $.47 or 2.1 percent, to $22.41.
Silver Standard fell $.31 or 1.5 percent, to $19.85.
Silver Wheaton rose $.04 or .3 percent, to $13.89.
