NEW YORK — Shares of some top pharmaceuticals companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Baxter rose $.05 or .1 percent, to $53.97.
Bristol-Myers Squibb rose $.32 or 1.5 percent, to $22.18.
Hospira rose $.45 or 1.0 percent, to $45.70.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.59 or 1.0 percent, to $59.52.
King Pharmaceuticals fell $.07 or .7 percent, to $10.19.
Eli Lilly rose $.44 or 1.3 percent, to $33.98.
Merck rose $1.97 or 6.4 percent, to $32.64.
Pfizer rose $.20 or 1.2 percent, to $16.93.
