Driver suffers life-threatening injuries in solo crash near SF State

A 20-year-old driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after he crashed into a parking garage early Thursday morning near San Francisco State University, police said.

Around 12:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of a crash near 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard.

The driver apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a garage, according to police.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
