After missing a game with right shoulder soreness, Draymond Green was upgraded to probable by the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.

And from the sound of it, it would’ve taken a lot more than that to keep him off the floor in his homestate of Michigan.

“It’s always good to be back home,” Green told reporters. “It’s just refreshing, you know? It brings a different energy.”

Beyond the sentimental value for Green, today’s game will be a rematch of the Warriors’ worst home loss of the season. The Pistons outscored their hosts by eight, forcing them into a season-worst 25 turnovers.

The Dubs are currently riding a five-game winning streak despite dealing with several injuries. Stephen Curry (ankle) will be out again, as well as Patrick McCaw (concussion protocol). Andre Iguodala (knee) will be probable, while Zaza Pachulia (shoulder) is questionable.

And then there’s head coach Steve Kerr, who could be soon listed on the injury report for his accomodations in the Motor City.

“Well I am at the MGM Casino Hotel in downtown Detroit and you want to talk about a soul-sucking experience, man, we’ve got to get home,” Kerr said. “I don’t need a casino right now in Detroit.”
