Dina Lohan pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving while intoxicated and speeding. The mother of actress Lindsay Lohan — who was seen at Coachella drinking vodka and whose own struggles with alcohol are well-documented — appeared in court in Long Island, N.Y., according to Newsday. She will be sentenced June 3, when prosecutors expect her to be given 100 hours of community service and a nearly $3,000 fine, the paper reports.
Dina Lohan, 51, was busted last year for going 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. Her blood alcohol level was 0.2 percent, more than twice the legal limit.
“She has worked hard her entire life and she has been a ‘parent trapped’ with the entire world watching her in a fishbowl with murky water due to no fault of her own,” her lawyer said in a statement at the time, referencing the Disney remake that made her daughter famous.
