Magician Criss Angel successfully completed a stunt Saturday night that had left him unconscious and hospitalized the day before, according to the New York Daily News.

Angel was rushed to the hospital Friday after attempting to perform the stunt on his “Mindfreak Live!” show in Las Vegas.

The stunt entails Angel hanging from the ceiling in a straight jacket, which he is supposed to wriggle his way out of.

After beginning the trick, Angel passed out and was left dangling from the ceiling for another two minutes before the show was canceled.

The 49-year-old magician was released from the hospital several hours later and successfully pulled of the stunt, to many fans delight.

Twitter user Nick Hackler tweeted: “@CrissAngel gave us the most incredible show imaginable for our 10 year anniversary. Expectations exceeded, fully recovered n killing it!!!”

‘Teen Wolf’ star engaged

“Teen Wolf” star Colton Haynes announced his engagement to Jeff Leatham on Instagram on Sunday and would you “believe” they even got Cher involved?

The Instagram picture shows Haynes and Leatham on a beach in Mexico with fireworks going off in the distance and a big movie screen with Cher’s image, who reportedly sang a line from “I Got You Babe,” according to TMZ.

The caption for the picture reads “I SAID YES!!!”

Leatham thanked Cher on Instagram and posted a video of the iconic singer singing the line and asking the two to call her and tell them how everything turned out.

Joni Sledge dead at 60

Joni Sledge, one of the founding sisters of Sister Sledge, died on Saturday at the age of 60 in her home in Phoenix, Ariz., according to Rolling Stone.

Sledge, who along with her group, was known for the hit single, “We Are Family.”

The family expressed their sadness in a statement.

“Yesterday, numbness fell upon our family. We are saddened to inform you that our dear sister, mother, aunt, niece and cousin, Joni passed away yesterday. Please pray for us as we weep for this loss. We do know that she is now eternally with Our Lord. We thank you in advance for allowing us the privacy to mourn quietly as a family. We miss her and hurt for her presence, her radiance, and the sincerity with which she loved & embraced life.”

Sledge was found unresponsive by a friend, Rolling Stone reports. No cause of death has been reported and memorial services should be announced some time this week.
