A 20-year-old woman hoping to sell her computer on Craigslist agreed to meet a potential buyer in the Tenderloin district Thursday and was robbed at gunpoint, police said.
The suspect, described as a black man in his late 30s or early 40s, responded to the Craigslist advertisement, police said. The victim agreed to meet at Turk and Leavenworth streets, a crime-ridden area, cops said.
When they met, the suspect exhibited a silver revolver then swiped the computer, police said. The robbery was reported around 1:20 a.m.
The victim was not injured and only the computer was taken, police said.
There has been no arrest, police said.
