Check out Waterbar’s gingerbread Ferry Building

San Francisco waterfront eatery Waterbar invites visitors to check out its elaborate gingerbread house — a 6-foot replica of the neighboring Ferry Building, on display through Dec. 31.

Created by pastry chef Angela Salvatore, the 6-foot long, 2.5 foot wide structure is surrounded by an adorable Farmers Market, with mini produce stands fashioned out of candy. Santa and his reindeer are on top of the building.

Meanwhile, EPIC Steak (Waterbar’s sister restaurant next door) has mounted a gingerbread “selfie booth” made by executive pastry chef Sarah Principe. Diners are encouraged to pose for a photo in the life-sized gingerbread frame at EPIC’s entrance (and use Santa beard and snowflake props supplied at the door).

Waterbar, which opens daily at 11:30 a.m., is located at 399 The Embarcadero.
