How does the “Be a Santa to a Senior” promotion work?
We partnered with Walgreens, which has put a Christmas tree up at 10 different stores. Each tree has a picture ornament that says what each senior wants. Shoppers can then purchase those gifts and donate them to the seniors.

What do the seniors typically request during the holidays? A lot of them have asked for gift cards so they can do their own shopping. Others have asked for … things mostly in the $10 to $20 range that really serve a necessary function for their lives.

How is this year’s “Be a Santa to a Senior” campaign going? Well, we still need a lot of people to make purchases by the end of the week. It can be a very rewarding experience for the shoppers, so we’re asking anyone that can contribute to please do so.
