The dimensions of bus ramps that will be built at a planned new Transbay Transit Center will be tested during a simulation at a former Navy base on Wednesday.
The layout of future Transbay Transit Center ramps has been set in place at the testing site at Alameda Point in the East Bay, according to Transbay Joint Powers Authority spokeswoman Courtney Lodato.
AC Transit will send 10 of its buses to test the ramps planned for the new transit center, which is expected to be built at First and Mission streets by 2015, according to Lodato.
“They’re going to test the geometrics of the bus ramps,” she said.
