The final settlement between The City and a Harvard University resident physician who claims he was shocked more than 10 times with a stun gun and beaten by police is $385,000.

Mehrdad Alemozaffar claims that the North Beach attack came after asking for the badge number of an officer with a long history of complaints: Jesse Serna.

Alemozaffar’s attorney had said they wouldn’t settle for an offer of less than $2 million. The latest settlement will have to be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
