City taxpayers are getting a break thanks to Mother Nature's fury.
State Board of Equalization Chairwoman Betty T. Yee is giving taxpayers in San Francisco extra time for paperwork due to the recent batch of storms. With a state of emergency declared last week for the county, Yee is giving extensions for filing, audits, billing notices, assessments and relief from subsequent penalties to individuals and businesses affected by the storms.
