District 8 Supervisor Bevan Dufty will hold a hearing Thursday on the truancy initiatives being used by the San Francisco Unified School District and The City.

The hearing will address the effectiveness of current programs and the direction of future initiatives. Also, the new Truancy Assessment and Referral Center and Bayview CARES Center will be discussed.
