The Film Commission is meeting in closed session Monday to possibly vote on recommending to Mayor Gavin Newsom who he should pick to serve as the commission’s executive director following Stefanie Coyote’s somewhat controversial resignation, which came with a severance pay out. Newsom also is thought to be considering recommendations for a director for the Department of the Environment.
