Amid calls for changes to The City’s public financing program, which is available for mayoral and supervisor candidates, the Ethics Commission will debate what a revised program should look like.
The first hearing is set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Room 408 at City Hall.
The commission will focus on how the program should function for the November 2012 supervisor races and explore different versions of the program, including one proposed by Supervisor Jane Kim.
The debate comes as there is a mounting effort to also change the program for the mayor’s race.
