Mayor Ed Lee perplexed the Lower Haight on Thursday night in his quest for a little face time with the community, and a beer or two.

And while his pub crawl was aimed at meeting San Francisco residents, he encountered plenty of folks who just aren't going to vote for him -- because they don't live here. Such is the case with a global town like San Francisco.

Nevertheless, Lee was able to talk shop with people, discuss his golf game and have a few laughs. The trek started at the Toronado and also included Mad Dog in the Fog.

No word on whether Lee enjoyed a Rosamunde link with his pint.
