The Municipal Transportation Agency and the San Francisco Police Department will meet with Tenderloin residents next week to address safety concerns at Muni bus stops in the neighborhood.
The meeting will focus on the bus shelter at Turk and Hyde streets, which has been the site of recent criminal activities in the community, according to the Tenderloin police station.
Paul Rose, spokesman for the SFMTA, said the meeting would create “an opportunity for our customers to express their concerns to better inform how we move forward on this issue. We hope to have a dialogue that allows us to present proposals and hear valuable feedback from the community.”
The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on July 26 at the Tenderloin Police Station, located at 301 Eddy Street.
