Labor union boss Larry Mazzola called on all union supporters to boycott former Supervisor Chris Daly’s bar, the Buck Tavern, in a recent letter to members.
Mazzola, as well as his son Larry Mazzola Jr., are Daly’s bitter enemies. Daly’s new bar Buck Tavern happens to be located just a few addresses down from the plumbers’ union headquarters.
“I am urging all union supporters to boycott the Buck Tavern,” Mazzola wrote, calling Daly “a long time enemy” of Local 38 and the Building Trades Council.
“As a supervisor, Daly opposed labor-backed ordinances and appointees, including projects that would have meant work for our members.”
