A medical cannabis dispensary will replace a shuttered adult video store just across the street from Safeway on Market Street.

The surrounding neighbors showed a lot of support for the Apothecary, which is supposed to replace a dispensary that closed in the same area back in 2008 because it was not wheelchair accessible.

It will be at least the sixth in the area.

The San Francisco Planning Commission voted unanimously on Thursday to seal the deal.
